THE DATE/TIME I WANT FOR THE CHRISTMAS FEAST IS FULLY BOOKED, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If your preferred date and time are fully booked, you can sign up for the waiting list — there is a good chance that a spot will open up. If you want to secure your spot right away, go to book a table, choose category, number of guests, and desired date. If it’s fully booked, select “see available tables by month” to view all available times for each day.
IN WHAT ORDER SHOULD I EAT A CHRISTMAS FEAST?
In the 1960s, Tore Wretman coined the term “Julbordets turer” (the courses of the Christmas table)… Nowadays, many think five courses are just right, though often the courses overlap as many complement each other.
WHAT DOES A CHRISTMAS FEAST AT DICKSONSKA PALATSET COST?
From SEK 795 depending on seating time and date.
HOW DO I GET TO DICKSONSKA PALATSET?
The address is Parkgatan 2, 412 56 Gothenburg. Walking distance from Valand tram stop and Heden bus stop.
IS THERE PARKING?
Heden parking lot is just a stone’s throw from Dicksonska. Paid street parking is also an option.
DO YOU HAVE A CLOAKROOM AND WHAT DOES IT COST?
There is a cloakroom on the entrance floor and it is included in the cover charge.
IS DICKSONSKA PALATSET ACCESSIBLE FOR EVERYONE?
Yes, with elevators to all floors it is easy for all our guests to reach our dining rooms.
DO YOU OFFER VEGAN AND VEGETARIAN OPTIONS?
Yes, of course. These are marked on the buffet.
DO YOU HAVE ALLERGY-FRIENDLY FOOD?
Yes. We label all the most common allergens and our chefs are happy to assist.
DO YOU HAVE WIFI AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS?
Yes, ask your waiter for the password.
DO YOU HAVE A DRESS CODE?
Neat and tidy — come as you are.
FORGOTTEN ITEMS?
Call or email us if you have lost something during your visit.
DO YOU HAVE AN AGE LIMIT?
No, but for late sittings on weekends we do not recommend children under 18.
CAN I PAY BY INVOICE?
Yes, for parties of more than 10 guests by prior agreement at booking. A prepayment invoice of SEK 895 per person incl. VAT will be sent first.
DO I NEED TO PRE-ORDER DRINKS?
No, not for smaller groups. For parties of more than 30 people, pre-ordering is required. Contact us for recommendations.
CAN I BRING CHILDREN? DO YOU HAVE HIGH CHAIRS/STROLLER ACCESS?
Children are welcome. We have high chairs, but strollers may not always be brought to the table (the insert part is fine).
DO YOU SELL GIFT CARDS?
No, we do not sell gift cards as our opening hours are limited and we cannot guarantee availability.
DO YOU ACCEPT LARGE GROUPS?
Yes, we accept 1–100 guests. It is also possible to book individual rooms subject to availability.
CAN I CANCEL MY BOOKING?
